February Meeting



Group Critique Session, Saturday Feb. 14th, 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Authors of all levels are encouraged to attend. Every reader/listener perspective adds value, and attendees are encouraged but not required to share their work. Participate at your comfort level, while remembering that sharing of individual work while offering and receiving constructive criticism is the focus of these sessions.

Bring:

6 printed copies of your work
A short story, personal narrative, or scene from a current WIP (work in progress)
Pen, pencils, and/or highlighters

***Trade Tip... Did you know that most editors and agents have a preferred format for reviewing? It's known as "standard submission format" and consists of the following:
  • 1" Margins
  • Double Space Line Spacing
  • Times New Roman, Courier, Courier New, or a Serif font (Times New Roman typically preferred)
  • 12 point font size

  1. The beauty of the space and food get 5 juicy stars. The place was built with class! I'm no critic, but this place for NYC events makes you appreciate design and aesthetics. I went to two events here. Both times, I had a great experience.
